इंडिगो और एयर इंडिया दोनों ने सोमवार को अपने यात्रियों के लिए एडवाइजरी जारी की। एयर इंडिया ने X पर पोस्ट किया, “आज बारिश के कारण दिल्ली आने-जाने वाली उड़ानों का संचालन प्रभावित हो सकता है। कृपया हवाई अड्डे पर जाने से पहले अपनी उड़ान की स्थिति जाँच लें।”

मूसलाधार बारिश का असर क्षेत्र पर जारी रहा। रविवार को दिल्ली-एनसीआर में भारी बारिश के कारण व्यापक यातायात जाम और जलभराव की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई। आईएमडी ने प्रीत विहार, राजीव चौक, आईटीओ, जाफरपुर, इंडिया गेट, अक्षरधाम, सफदरजंग और लोदी रोड सहित विभिन्न इलाकों में बारिश की सूचना दी। रविवार को नेहरू स्टेडियम, डिफेंस कॉलोनी, लाजपत नगर, कालकाजी, आयानगर और डेरामंडी में भी बारिश दर्ज की गई।
पिछले शनिवार को, भारी बारिश, बिजली गिरने और गरज के साथ छींटे पड़ने के कारण राजधानी क्षेत्र के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया था। शाम 5:11 बजे जारी की गई और रात 8:11 बजे तक प्रभावी रही इस चेतावनी में निवासियों को घर के अंदर रहने और निचले इलाकों या जलभराव वाले इलाकों से बचने की सलाह दी गई थी।
