उच्चतर शिक्षा निदेशालय हरियाणा ने सभी राजकीय कॉलेजों को निर्देश दिया है कि शिक्षा मंत्री को भेजे जाने वाले सभी पत्र हिंदी में ही होने चाहिए। यह आदेश हिंदी भाषा के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जारी किया गया है। पहले अधिकांश पत्र अंग्रेजी में भेजे जाते थे। निर्देशों का पालन न करने पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
निदेशालय उच्चतर शिक्षा (डीएचई) ने अब प्रदेश के सभी राजकीय कालेजों को निर्देश जारी किए हैं कि शिक्षा मंत्री को पत्र भेजा जाएगा वह हिंदी भाषा में होना चाहिए। लंबे समय के बाद डीएचई का यह आदेश हिंदी को लेकर आया है, जबकि अधिकतर पत्र अंग्रेजी में ही भेजे जाते रहे हैं।
अब एक आदेश जारी कर डीएचई ने अब हिंदी के इस्तेमाल पर जोर दिया है। बताया जाता है कि यह पहली बार है, जब इस तरह का निर्देश जारी किया गया है। प्रदेश में 184 राजकीय कालेजों को यह आदेश जारी किया गया है। यानी अब शिक्षा मंत्री को जो पत्र जाएगा वह हिंदी में भेजना होगा। ऐसे में प्रदेश के सभी राजकीय कालेजों में इसको लेकर जानकारी दे दी है ताकि शिक्षा मंत्री तक जाने वाले पत्र अब हिंदी में ही जाएंगे।
कई पत्र जारी होते हैं डीएचई द्वारा
डीएचई द्वारा राजकीय कालेजों अथवा निजी/एडिड कालेजों को तमाम लेटर जारी करता है। इन में से कुछ हिंदी में जारी किए जाते हैं, तो कुछ अंग्रेजी में जारी होते हैं। हालांकि दावा यह भी किया जाता है कि हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों में जारी होते हैं। अब शिक्षा मंत्री हरियाणा द्वारा इस पर संज्ञान लिया गया है।
शिक्षा मंत्री का हवाला देते हुए डीएचई ने पत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि यह देखा गया है कि उच्चतर शिक्षा विभाग की सभी मिसल/पत्र बहुतायत अंग्रेजी भाषा में इंगित किए जाते हैं। यही नहीं पत्र में भी यह भी कहा गया है कि जिस राज्य में जो भाषा बोली जाती है, उस राज्य के सभी कार्यालयों में उसी प्रदेश की भाषा को वरीयता दी जाती है।
निर्देशों की अवहेलना पर कार्रवाई
डीएचई ने राजकीय कालेजों को निर्देश दिए है कि शिक्षा मंत्री के अनुमोदन अथवा आदेशार्थ जो भी पत्र भेजा जाएगा वह हिंदी भाषा में ही होना चाहिए। यह सभी पत्र हिंदी भाषा में हों। यदि इन निर्देशों की अवहेलना होती है तो अधिकारी अथवा कर्मचारी के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर कॉलेज अंबाला छावनी के प्राचार्य डॉ. देशराज बाजवा ने कहा कि डीएचई की ओर से पत्र जारी किया गया है। इस में कहा गया है कि शिक्षा मंत्री को जो पत्र भेजना है, वह हिंदी में होना चाहिए।
